Add meetup integration

This article will walk you through how to connect your Meetup account to Bevy

  1. Two credentials are needed to connect Bevy and Meetup:
    1. Client ID
    2. Client Secret
  2. First log into Meetup and create an OAuth Consumer here: https://secure.meetup.com/meetup_api/oauth_consumers/
  3. Fill in the following details:
    Consumer Name: COMPANY NAME
    Application Website: YOUR SITE URL (https://events.example.com)
    Redirect URI: YOUR SITE URL (https://events. example.com)
  4. Once you click register, you'll get Client ID and Client Secret keys
  5. Input these two in your Bevy admin dashboard under "Meetup" section of the Settings tab, making sure to click the "Save" button at the bottom
  6. Once that's completed, visit any group in Bevy that you'd like to use the Meetup integration. 
  7. In the chapter's Settings tab, & select the Integrations tab
  8. Click “Connect Meetup”. You’ll be redirected to Meetup’s site, where you can follow their instructions to authorize the integration
  9. Click "Save once you're redirected back to Bevy’s chapter settings to complete.
As new events are published, prompts will appear to add the event to Meetup. All event information including the agenda, speakers and sponsors/partners will be added to the event on Meetup.com
